Super consistent mare Sweet Venom recorded her Maiden victory at Swan Hill on Monday. The five year old Golden Snake mare had had 10 starts for the stable prior to her win, where she never finished outside of fourth. The key element to her victory was the midfield position she was able to settle in. Dean Yendall guided her to the middle of the track at the top of the straight and she was simply too good for her rivals winning by over 2 lengths. Congratulations to her winning connections who have been very patient.  |
