Three year old filly Capriccio, proved too good for her rivals at Ballarat on Sunday. The I Am Invincible filly was able to get her Maiden victory out of the way at just her second start in the Suez 3YO Maiden Plate over 1200m.
She has always shown good ability at home and to see her translate this to the track is a relief and also exciting.
No doubt there will be bigger and better races in store for Capriccio which could include one of the following options the Group 3 Maroona Stakes on Caulfield Guineas Day (October 10th) or the Listed Crockett Stakes at Moonee Valley on Cox Plate Day the following week.
Congratulations to her owners. We have no doubt there will be a lot of fun had with this filly in the upcoming months and years ahead.
