By Travis Noonan - Racing.com Daniel Bowman had a day he won't forget quickly on Saturday, preparing Magnapal and Working From Home to win at Caulfield. Both horses started above double figures at $26 and $11 respectively giving even more credit to the performance of the Warrnambool-based trainer. This year has been a ripper so far for the stable with eight winners from 42 starters with winning strike rate of 19 per cent in Victoria. When put into perspective that statistic is quite remarkable considering the likes of Darren Weir, Chris Waller and the Lindsay Park team all sit below 16 per cent so far. His recent success is no surprise given the upward incline the team has had year on year on the amount of winners with 2015 (15), 2016 (18) and 2017 (20). With more horses and increasing profile expect to see a lot more of Bowman in town. |
