The lightly raced 4YO daughter of So You Think made it back-to-back wins over 1600m to take her career record to three wins and a placing from six starts.
Similarly, three weeks earlier she won over the same trip at Ararat.
A terrific tactical ride by Billy Egan enabled the pair to follow the Peter Moody trained race favourite Lady Court into the race from the 800m mark.
The Pakenham straight can be a testing uphill run home, but Egan’s knowledge of the track seen him allow the mare to stride up under her own steam.
Despite runner-up Smullen looking a danger late in the race, the pair rallied strongly to win running away by more than a length.
The next likely race for SO She Can Fly will be at Flemington next Saturday.
Congratulations to all connections and thank you for being so patient.
