Roddandtodd scurried his way to victory at Moonee Valley in the BM70 955m Hcp, Ladbrokes 55second challenge.
Everything went according to plan as jockey Declan Bates was able to hold his spot on the fence from barrier 2. He gave a kick around the home turn to shoot away and win by over two lengths.
The roar from the owners when he returned to the winners circle was as loud as any we have heard on a racetrack. Everyone on track celebrated accordingly, with many hanging around until the bar closed.
The three year old Charge Forward gelding was purchased from the Sydney Classic Sale almost exactly two years ago to his win.
With the sale on again this weekend, Daniel is on the hunt to find another Roddandtodd.

Roddandtodd is out of the mare Flying Flanders. When he arrived at our stables he was given the nickname Ned, after Ned Flanders from The Simpsons.
All owners had the chance to submit a name with Liam Garrett suggesting Roddandtodd.
Rodd and Todd are the sons of Ned Flanders from The Simpson. Hi Diddly Ho!
